Antenatal risk factors for peanut allergy in children Karen E Binkley, Chad Leaver, Joel G Ray Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology 2011, 7:17 (4 October 2011) While complete avoidance of peanut-containing products in pregnancy has shown a non-significantly lower risk of peanut allergy, the overall risk of childhood peanut allergy is not modified by maternal exposure to Rh immune globulin, folic acid or peanut-containing foods during pregnancy.
